woke up at 1pm?
Met Chris, Rayna (Huijuan) and Precillia(is that how u spell ur name?) (year 3)
at bugis at around 4pm+
Rayna and her friend went their way while Chris and I went our way.

Walked to Suntec City at 5.30pm.
Went into Carrefour.
saw this fucking CHEAP bag la! $3 only.
haha.
so bought it.

On the way to meet Rayna, Presillia and Nanping,
I was approached by some lady.
she looks like those from insurance company
but after asking for our age,
she changed topics lo.
haha.
WRONG age group i guess.
they're looking for 20+ de ba?
but we did some concert survey while
others at the other table filled in some forms.

Then met them at 6.30pm.
acc Nanping and Chris go smoke.
then ate dinner at Suntec city foodcourt.
another of Rayna's friend joined.

walked to The Substation.
Met other TP-ians (whom i don't know them).

the event- Urban Groove 2 by YouthDNA.
ok ok la.
singing competition.
whole event was from 8pm to 10.30pm.

walked to Dobhy Ghaut.
decidedto have Rochor Beancurd.
so walked over
and ate till 11+pm

in which Huijuan and Chris missed.
they cabbed home instead.

woke up at 6.
4 hours of sleep nia.
met Trevor at 7.30am at wdls.

Haoyou and Bad was in the bus coincidentally.
haha.

was EARLY today. =D
Enginemaths is starting to get a bit confusing.
haha.
our engine maths follows the NTU/NUS syallbus if i'm not wrong.

INTROCA lecture was quite a bore.
500 YEARS of aviation history!

finished everything that we're supposed to do in EFFCOM.

Jim, KT, Harresh, Trevor, Chris, Baohuei (and more) and i
went to have lunch at Mensa.
fish and chips.
ever tried coleslaw with wasabi? it SUCKS.

then went to SAA office.
FINALLY got my ezlink card. =D

then went home with Trevor and Harresh.
Reached home at 3pm and slept till 6+.

woke up at 6am.
took direct train towards pasir ris from wdls.
was supposed to meet Trevor at the last cabin at cck at about 7.30am
but we were seperated.

alighted at Cityhall to wait for hoon and meet trevor instead.
train-ed to Tampines.
took 69 to school.
saw Sam on the bus.

met Desmond at bus stop.
then we walked in together.

for the 1st TIME!,
i'm NOT late!
haha.

FACOM lecture.
once again, Hoon had food with her.
haha.

no more lessons after FACOM. =D
went to design school for brunch @ around 10+.
then took 168 with Trevor.
reached home at around 12.45pm.

Ate lunch.
then train-ed to Outram Park.
Met Nanping and Trevor at 2.30pm for WORK.
work as caterer.
$6.50 per hour.
1st day.
its sort of like a freelance job.

event was an official opening of a store managed by Chan Brothers at
People's park centre.
lunch/dinner was provided. =D
2 drumstick, a few fish fillets, vege n potatoes
with lots of rice.

after discussing what to do for a long time.

its an online lesson thing.
learn at our own pace.

then E.maths1 tut.
after that,
celebrated PHOENIX's birthday.

i planned for her birthday celebration yesterday for 1 HOUR!
she was very touched.

then after celebration,

-ORIENTATION DAY 3 CUM WRS SPEECH DAY-
20th APR

woke up at 7.30am.
met bad at wdls interchange at 8.30am.
took 168 to tp.

reahced at 9..30am.
EARLYman.
we have to report at 10am.

so met Chris while bad meet his friends.
bad and friends went off first.
went to usual smoking area with Chris
then went to class at 10.15am.

mentor very happy that we came.
haha.
cuz she's scared that we all pon.

volunteered to represent engine sch for a game called 'Crazy caterpillar'
as i felt that i didn't contribute to my class in any bit.
for the previous days,
mentor was like 'Eh. lunch is here. who wants to go down and collect'
then definitely got people volunteer de.
i was the quiet one then (so not like me).

met those playing the game.
mostly from IBT.
only like 4 from AMS including me?
total of 20 people playing the game.
practised from like 11 to 12+?
was treated to drinks.

then left our belongings in LT.
then proceeded to Sports Hall.
Had lunch.
today's lunch was the best of all!
chicken wing, vege, fishball.

then waited for our turn to go out for the game.
result-3rd place.

the feeling is good when we go out into the game area.
imagine 1000+ people cheering for u.
wah.
haha.

then as we walk back into the sports hall,
those seating/standing along the way will put their hands out
for us to run/walk pass them while hitting their hands.

left straight after that game at 3.30pm.

met Huiying and Yujuan.
reported to the hall.

our award was presented to us by Ms Ellen Lee, MP
and there was even a hired photographer for us to pose with her.

caught up with my friends aft receiving the award.
SO LONG since i seen most of them.
when peifen and i saw each other,
we actually run towards each other and hug.

then ate buffet catered by sch.

finally got my guitar back after 1yrs+?

ORIENTATION DAY 2 (19th APR)

met trevor at wdls interchange at 7.45am.

this time, it took only 55mins including jam.

he's from india and was previously a nuclear scientist.

then went to canteen (which we are not supposed to but cp supported us) @ 10am+

11.30am meet our lecturers.

12.30pm lunch.
one of the lecturer treated AMS students to Swensen's ice cream.

1.30pm at TCC (not pcc =X)
watched some dance.
speech by directors.
cheers.
the host very funny sia although he made racist remarks.

then 4pm learned the sch song usin sign/hand lang.
diff sia.

waited for notes and maths table till 7pm man.
listened to one of the lecturers for 1/2 hr.
then de-brief till 8pm.
went home with haoyou.
went to popular before going home.

some things i learn about this course today:

purpose of this course
is to produce tml elite leaders of the aviation world as
today leaders are retiring and
there's no or very few tml leaders.

we're the pioneer batch

we will be going on overseas study trips to places like
-bangkok
-hongkong
-kl
-dubai
and others.

selected pupils will get to go to montreal and the states.

5-10 vacancies for selected students to learn and take the pilot liesence test
which cost $20 000 and is totally sponsor-ed by RSAF with no strings attached.

in talks with the best aviation university to set up course in Singapore.

6 month long attachment in year 3

if talks go well,
our attachment will start in year 1 sem 2.
attachment is going to take over lab work.

all high expectations on us.
directors wants us to be in one of the top ranks based on results in school.

AMS is the 6th most popular course in Singapore.

all our lecturers have many years experience in aviation industry.

lecturers wants us to start from the bottom positions in attachment
and cultivate competitiveness among us
as in the aviation world
its very competitive and yet we need everyone around.

we have very well planned timetables
and many free time
reason being that we will need those free time to complete our work.

TRIP TO THAILAND 10th-17th APR '07 (again)

some(most) of you might not know that i went to Thailand recently.
for personal reason (prefer to keep it private) and the SongKran festival
from 11th APR to 15th APR.

10th APR tuesday

didn't sleep when i came home after work @ 1am.
packed my luggage, surf-ed the net.
left home for Changi Airport via cab @ 5AM+

reached Budget Terminal at 5.50AM.
checked-in to flight TR 162 to Udon Thani.
Met Janella.
Ate breakfast at Han's.

Waved goodbye to Janella and Father before going thru immigration.
was once again, the last passenger to go on board.
was allocated a seat right in front.

took off at 6.45am.
Had the chance to watch sunrise in the sky.
DAMN NICE!!
too bad i didn't take any photos of it.

landed at Udon Thani at 8.30AM (Thailand time)
slept the moment i reached home.

went to night market for shopping.

11th APR WED
1st day of Songkran festival

woke up.
went to shop.
slacked.
didn't start playing Songkran yet.

on the way to use the net,
was poured with water.
so, used the com when i was still soaking wet.

went home.
bathed.

getting to pour water on passerby(s), motorcyclist, other people playing too.

4th day of Songkran

toured around city to play again.
went to night market at night.

went to the cinema to watch 'The Reaping'
a rather nice movie =D

5th and last day of Songkran

went in 'pick-up' to temple.
got some blessings.
then continue to play again.

went home.

then went to another temple to pray to grandma and granddad.
continue playing.

16th APR MON

woke up late. =D
went to have a haircut at 4pm.

sat there to have my haircut for 1.5hrs. Zzzzzzzzzz
but for only 3SGD and 2 hairdressers.

actually wanted to go for teeth whitening.
but didn't have enought time.
so went night market with cousin instead.
bought lots of stuffs.

then went to Big C with mom and cousin.
reached home at 11pm+

slept at 2am.

17th APR TUES

woke up at 6am.
packed my luggage.
ate breakfast.
bathed.
said bye to everyone.
then headed to airport @ 7.50am.

mom, stepdad, cousin and aunt were there to see me off.
everyone including me cried before i went thru immigration.
don't know when i'm going to see my mom again when poly starts.=(
mom cried really hard.

SONGKRAN FESTIVAL

Songkran is the throwing of water.
People roam the streets with bowls of water,
water guns or even a garden hose, and drench each other and passersby.
there are water fights and splashing water to people on vehicles.
best part is when you use ice cold water. =D

another thing involved is the use of powder.
guys place powder on their palms and
when they see someone they feel is beautiful,
they approach her and wipe her cheeks with powder.
gals do the same too.
you can simply place powder on anyone u want. =DD
u get what i mean? (evil smile) ahah.
that person may also wipe ur cheeks back with powder if he/she wants.

saw some went naked around.
as in top and bottom naked. no joke.
haha.

police are the main target to pour water on when they are around. =D
haha.

was standing near the ticket office while waiting for peiling and kat to arrive
and peihoon was there standing a short distance away from me

looking over at my direction so many times. haha.

train-ed to Orchard.
Window-shopped at Fareast then Wisma.
Walked over to Cineleisure.
Ate at Maestro Bistro. =D
Ate brazilian ice cream and shared artic prawns with Peiling.
cost me like around $15.

Then met Kaiwei at Hereen.
Waited for Weiqi there.
Walked to Cineleisure when Weiqi arrived.

Dined at Chicago Steakhouse for dinner. =D
ate fish and chips.
many stupid things happened. haha.

ate till SUPER FULL!
helped peiling finished her dish and
Kaiwei and me helped Weiqi finished hers.

Walked around after that.

MY 13 DAY TRIP

-27th MARCH DAY 1-

slept at 3am
woke up 1hr + later at 4.30am.
prepared my luggage and stuffs.

cab-ed to Changi Airport Budget Terminal.
$30+

checked in for TR 162

then took bus to Terminal 2.
bought mac breakfast.
cab-ed back to budget terminal as there was'nt much time left.

proceeded into the boarding gate swiftly.
was the last passenger to go on board even thought there's still 20 mins before take off. -.=
reason why everyone's boarded the plane so early is because it's free seating.
but i still managed to get a window seat.

6.45am and the plane took off.
got to see SUNRISE. =D
VERY NICE.

first time seeing sunrise while high in the sky.

Landed at 9.30am (Thailand time) at Udon Thani international airport.
flight was 2hrs45mins.
fucking took 1hr + to clear custom.

Some relatives were there to fetch me.
loaded my luggage into the back of the car.
then proceeded to pick my mum up.

headed for home.
Changed clothes and went to search for motorcycles on sale.
bought 1 Yamaha but i forgot what series de.

went to watch '300' (M18 rating in Singapore) with my cousins.
NICE MOVIE! love the graphics.
1movie ticket cost on S$4 during peak days.
and S$3 during non-peak.

the movie theatre there is so much different from those in singapore.
its very posh there.
walls are all painted gold in colour with pillars of shimmering gold and curtains of red in between pillars.
there were even sofas outside the theatre.
the movie halls are VERY BIG.
Seat even have reclining function.
arm rest could be lifted.
however, there's one con.
there's about 30 mins of trailers before the movie actually begins.

-28th MARCH DAY 2-

went in car to the province of Nongkhai.
1hr + to get there.
went to the border between Thailand and Laos.
then went to some of the tourist attractions.

reached home in the evening.

-DAY 3-

went to one of relative's house to have steamboat.
window shopped at the night market after that.

was riding the motorbike and when i alighted,
my leg brushed against the HOT EXHAUST PIPE of the motorbike.
fuck.

-DAY 4 ONWARDS-

forgot what i did.
finished reading a book within 1 day. =D

-DAY 5-

bought live prawns and fish to barbeque. =D
YUMMY.

-A FEW OF THE DAYS-

went to have steamboat at cheap rates yet the food were delicious.

-2 of the days-

Cousin and i followed my mum and stepfather to work.
stepfather drives a coach bus while mum collects money for tickets from passengers.
mum keeps all the profit.
their route: Udon Thani-KhonKean-Korat and back the next day.

woke up at 5am that morning.
bathed, packed bag.
got up the bus.
went into the bus terminal.
ate breakfast.

waited for passengers to board the bus.
Workers and mum have to go and approach people asking if their going to places on the bus's route cuz there's loads of coaches there.
so, all were confused as to which bus to board.
that's when my mum and workers come in.

left Udon Thani at 8am+
1hr45mins to Khonkean.
once the bus enters the terminal,
several food sellers could be seen chasing the bus to its door.
those who arrive faster will go up the coach first to sell their food.
pity those food sellers.
but they're not the ones i pity the most.

left Khonkean after picking up more passengers.
3 hrs to Korat.

parked the bus at ESSO pumpstation.
ate lunch.
then went to The Mall via local mini bus.

stuffs at The Mall are DAMN expensive.
bought a shirt at 600BTH+ whereas a shirt at the night market only cost 99BTH.
see the big difference?
ate dinner at Mac.
tried the pork burger.

then went back to Esso pump.
was night by then.
bathed.
slacked.
slept in a tent beside the bus.

woke up early in the morning.
went up the bus and on our to pick passengers up to Khonkean and then Udonthani.
same routine.

the landscape and scenery along the way is DAMN NICE =D
vast flat land everywhere and occasionally a tree out of no where.

upon reaching UdonThani's terminal,
dozens of 'taxi-like' drivers CHASE after the bus (YES i mean DOZENS) while PUSHING each other
just so that they could reach the bus first and get customers for their taxis.
this are the people that i pity most as they work so hard just to earn so little.

-DAY 12-

went for haircut at a saloon.
then dye-ed my hair at another saloon.
Steam boat for dinner.

-DAY 9 to 12-

its during these days then i started to REALLY shop.
haha.
bought many really nice shirts.

-DAY 13 LAST DAY-

woke up at 6.30am.
went to buy breakfast with mom and stepfather.
reached home at 7.45am.
flight at 9AM.
omfg.
was nearly LATE for flight.
left home at 8.05am.

was the LAST passenger to check-in.

MY DIET everyday in Thailand:
-Freshly made orange juice.
-Yoghurt drink
-Roti Prata
-Popcorns

those were the MUST HAVE-s everyday.
haha.

many say that i look like japanese. -.=

there some days at night,
the dogs in the neighbourhood will all come out
and HOWL in the same direction at NOTHING.
freaky.
